Malin is a Berlin-based photographer and creative director whose work is deeply rooted in the international music sphere. Specialising in live performances, concerts, festivals, press photos, and album cover art, she captures the raw energy and emotion of the music world, bringing each moment to life through a distinctive lens.

Malin’s journey into photography and videography began during her Media Communication studies at the University of the Arts London (UAL), where she first explored the world of visual storytelling. It wasn’t until the lockdown that she picked up her own camera, using the time to experiment and refine her craft. By the end of 2022, she started dedicating every week to shooting concerts for a music blog, building a portfolio and diving deeper into the rhythm of live music photography. This commitment has since opened doors, and today, Malin is an integral part of Berlin's music event series "Unreleased", contributing as the main photographer. With a focus on creative direction, Malin also collaborates closely with Berlin-based DJ TEMRY, photographing and shaping the visual direction of his projects.
In addition to her music-focused work, Malin also enjoys capturing the energy and joy of events. Whether it’s parties, private gatherings, or larger celebrations, she loves to work with people and document fun, candid moments that showcase genuine connections and the unique spirit of the occasion. Her ability to blend artistic vision with real-life energy allows her to create images that feel both authentic and full of life. Alongside her event photography, Malin has also worked on creative campaigns for brands, where she applies her eye for detail and storytelling to deliver impactful visual content that resonates with audiences.

Recently, Malin has expanded into music video direction, blending photography with dynamic motion to craft compelling narratives that reflect the essence of the artists she works with. Whether conceptualising photo shoots or directing visuals for music videos, she ensures that every project is an immersive, cohesive experience.

Influenced by an aesthetic that mirrors Malin’s own personal style—bold, dynamic, and ever-evolving—her work often explores the beauty of motion and imperfection. Through slow shutter techniques and experimental editing, she redefines traditional photography, transforming all kinds of moments into extraordinary visuals that resonate on a deeper level.

For Malin, photography is not just about capturing a moment, but about evoking emotion and presenting a unique perspective. Every frame is designed to push boundaries, tell a story, and offer something more than what meets the eye.
